Celebrating “YOU” ~ Cyranny’s Cove

Hello, hello, hello, it’s finally time again, and I no longer have to hold my tongue. I get more and more excited with each week, as another segment of Celebrating “YOU” is rolling out and another beautiful soul is being celebrated. It is so much fun and rewarding to pay forward what I hope is a special moment in someone’s life.

This week’s celebration is from me again and goes out to my dear friend Cyranny  at Cyranny’s Cove. There are many reasons as to why she deserves to be recognized, and she truly is a one of a kind spirit and special soul. What I should say first and foremost is that Cyranny LOVES DENMARK. Her passion and patronage for her country is evident, admirable, and flows through her veins as she breathes and lives Hygge. You won’t find another person as loyal and supportive, another so proud and dedicated to her country. You go girl, one day I hope to visit your beautiful country and see for myself what I already know within my heart. Your country is beautiful….

The story is always the same when it comes to my nominations, and I’m not sure when our paths crossed, but some connections are so special from the get go that you just know you’ll be in each other’s life for a very long time. And so it was, and Cyranny’s writing style was captivating me right from the beginning. It often leaves me with a dwarfed feeling when it comes to my own writing, and I mean this in the most positive and flattering of ways. Her talent of painting a picture and taking you along on a journey is out of this world. I can’t help myself but be in awe and inspired. By gosh, how can someone even write like this…..

Did I mention Cyranny LOVES DENMARK?

Besides sharing a passion for knitted socks, there is a understanding, a feeling as if we have known each other for a long time. Her drive and sense for adventure knocks on the door of great fun and going after what you want. After all, you only live once and her application to WOW airlines has been submitted for a summer job as travel blogger. How cool would that be? I wish her the best of luck and may she be our eyes and guide in a far far away, exotic and beautiful land.

Another thing that stands out to me is Cyranny’s personality. It is one that is giving, praising and kind. I found it so beautiful that she took the time to rally a few other bloggers in a segment called “What we think of Sandra” to empower another blogger who was struggling. To bring courage and strengths to an amazing talent that couldn’t see her own light. What takes it over the top is when she mentioned that the biggest concern was that she wished she could have stayed anonymous because she didn’t want any attention on herself for doing so. She didn’t want the comments that praised her for doing so be directed at her, and the focus was to be on Sandra only. She wanted Sandra to know how much light and love she has brought to others, regardless of her doing. It is the same with my segment Celebrating “YOU” and once again she loves the idea and wants to participate, but only if she can nominate in secrecy. I promised that I would honor her wishes, but should I get a nomination from her in the future and I can’t tell you from who it is from, well…you probably can guess by now. I’m sorry my dear friend, I didn’t mean to share your conversation and wishes, but you too need to see how special your actions have been. I do understand what you are saying, but I think it is pretty amazing what you have done here. You deserve the credit and I do know that this is not the reason as to why you do the things you do. Still, it deserves a shout out in the highest degree and today I am not holding back. There are few who do what you do and it is those who make the difference for people like me and so many others. Thank you 💙

The last thing I like to mention is a random picture of a lilac bloom she has sent me in return to a post I had written. “Thought about you, have a lovely evening” the email said. Just a few words, and yet sent with so much heart and so powerful to me, I still remember how touched I was. That somebody would take the time, to think of me in a hectic world, to go out of their way to make my day. After reading about something I had written, and then coming across that same something and choosing to let it remind themselves of me again. I have saved the picture and to honor her kindness, it will replace the usual Celebrating “YOU” logo for this post.

Thank you for your passion and for caring. For the honesty you bring to the table and leaving me inspired and wanting to reach higher. You make me believe that nothing is impossible and I am honored to write this little nomination for you. May it make your day and bring a big smile your way. Love you girl…Xoxoxo

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

  1. What a wonderful post, Rhapsody. Once again, your giving heart is being expressed openly and lovingly and your honest compassion is bursting out. I must say, as a person who has a reputation for boring my friends silly with my heartfelt love for my own country, Wales, I feel a kind of kindredness with Cyranny due to her strong love and support for the land of her heart. Shamanism is all about having a relationship of love and sovereignty, kind of like a ‘marriage’ to the land itself and it’s wonderful to know of anybody who wishes to shout out their love for their land, its seasons, its natural features, its unique wildlife and its mythology/story and historical heritage. (This is beginning to inspire me to write a post about the relationship between the land and the Goddess…..hmmmm.) I imagine Cyranny also feels deeply rooted into the land of her heart, as if she’s an energetic tree and is inseparable from the land itself.

    1. What a wonderful comment my soul sister. Not that is any different than all your other kind words, but still. I always love to read your words and I know you can relate with Cyranny. I can’t wait to read your post and I’m honored if this could be the inspiration behind it. Xoxoxo

      1. Thank you, it turned out slightly differently to how i imagined, in the way of post-writing, it turned into The Wheel of the Year, which is a combination of Goddess and Land, coming out later this week. Also, when I get my laptop fixed (looking bad, maybe a complete unrepairable failure) then I will write one about my love for Wales, maybe. xx

      2. Ah, well, not to be at this time it seems, but one day I will tell you all about my homeland, the land of my heart. xxx

    1. O.M.G. What have you done my gorgeous soul? You know I will have to reblog this. Not to draw attention to myself, put for the very same reasons as to why you did this. I am speechless, and I know understand how you must have felt. O.M. Goodness. Thank you so much. You are too much 💙
I will actually try and schedule it for tomorrow since I’m gone a few days. So if you see it pop up and removed, that’s why.

  2. Oh Gorgeous, I am still pretty much speachless when I re-read this… I am far more than touched, and I’ve been looking for words, to express my appreciation, but they pale compared to yours. I left you a little note on my blog 😉

    *Hugs and kisses*
