Angelic helper

An angelic helper appeared to me in the sky yesterday and brought a smile to my face. I’m sure you have looked to the sky before to see if you could make out any shapes emerging from the puffy clouds. i associate times like these with laying in a meadow or a field of flowers, just relaxing and daydreaming, being at peace, still and content. In this case I just looked up after having dinner outside and this is what I saw, the shape of a floating angel. Perhaps even a loved one, paying me a visit in these challenging times, letting me know that I got this and that I am not walking alone, that I am supported.

After getting a glimpse of the beautiful, nearly full moon last night, I woke up with a chill in the air this morning. It was only 46 degrees outside and for the first time I grabbed my cardigan to keep warm, the same one I bought Mom a few years ago after she saw mine. Oh, how she loved that cozy jacket and despite it being me who bought it, I always feel wrapped in her love and comforted when I wear it.

After two days of putting my thoughts and emotions into perspective I felt better today and not so overwhelmed, at the verge of crying at every little thing. I feel stable, stronger, refocused and grouped once more to tackle life’s challenges. But I am not waiting for the trouble to appear, nor will I make it a priority. I will just let it be, develop as it must and deal with it when I have to. In the meantime, I am distracting myself, reminding myself of all that is good in my life and all of my blessings. And I am enjoying the cooler temperatures, thats for sure.

I still have quite a few issues on the pain front and my hands, the left one especially. Recently I wrote about that trouble with the hands is a matter of letting go and grasping and it still holds true. I hope that with this full moon, some more energy can be released as far as the letting go part goes and as I am desperately grasp my future. I need to be patient as everything is going to plan. Now if anyone knows who has a grain silo, 24’-28’ for sale, please let me know.

Angels and Spirit Guides

Picture: Yahoo

Do you believe in Angels and Spirit guides? You may have heard me talk about both in recent posts and yes I am a believer. I believe in Spirit Animals as well, divine intervention, no ordinary moments, karma and that the Universe has a plan for me, much greater than my own.

Recently I came across a nice little list on the difference between Angels and Spirit Guides, which I’d like to share with you today. I hope you enjoy…

Let’s start with Angels first

  • Main role is try and keep you safe
  • Everyone has at least 1 Angel with them
  • Have not been on the Earth Plane before
  • Need your permission and acknowledgment to help you
  • Are not a loved one who has passed over
  • Will never leave you and always stay with you

Now let’s take a look at Spirit Guides

  • Main role is to give you guidance
  • You can have many guides, who can come and go throughout your life
  • Have been on the Earth Plane before
  • Spirit doesn’t need your permission to help you. Still acknowledge them
  • Can be a passed loved one or someone you have never met but has expertise they need to share with you
  • Can change throughout your life depending on what you need guidance with

May your Angels and Spirit Guides always be with you. Here is to a fabulous February.

Pssst. See you tonight 7PM PST

Angels on Earth

Picture taken from google

Have you ever met an angel on earth? I feel blessed that I’m able to say that I have, whether it was in person or in the energetic. Some of the very few I have come across, I never met in person, but on this very blog. Angels, I will never forget, angels, that will forever be with me, even if it’s only in thought and memory. It’s a double ended sword that brings joy and a smile, but also sadness and tears. Sadly, some angels enter our life for only a short time, to fulfill a soul contract to help us, or being the ones that need to be helped, but the connection never truly seizes once it has been made, and it remains special for all eternity. And it’s no surprise to me when I find myself missing these angels.

These encounters and kind humans leave a lasting effect on us, one that touches our heart and leaves it enriched, enlightened and forever changed. They are the ones that get us, complete our sentences, leave us feeling understood and cared for. They are ones that solidify our journey and give it newfound meaning and motivation by showing us that we are not alone. It’s an experience that leaves us inspired, lifted and cradled in warmth and light. It’s also an experience that leaves us missing these angels if we were lucky enough to meet one.

We often associate angels with heaven, but angels walk amongst us every day. Doing kind deeds with no end, serving others to find their way, simply by shining their light and most beautiful glow. Therefore, angel wings are earned here on earth and not once you enter through the gates of heaven. Angels enter in full glory, rewarded for all good deeds done here on earth.

Calling all Angels

I don’t know why it took me that long, but it is said that everything has its timing. I could say that truer words have seldom been spoken, as well as better late than never.

My painting started with an idea, and ended with a dedicated painting for my Dad, who passed away in a tragic accident, nearly 45 years ago. He was my hero and I miss him every day. What I would give to just sit with him, and talk to him one more time. Mom always tells me how much I remind her of him, and I’m more than ok with it. I wear it proudly, like a badge of honor, something that brings me even closer to him, but also makes the loss hurt as if it was only yesterday. I know he is surrounded by angels, and he is my guardian angel. There is not a day that passes where I don’t feel loved by him, and in return I am calling all angels to watch over him and remind him that he is equally loved back.

There is no doubt that life has been tough lately, filled with disappointments, loss, and challenges, but also filled with great memories, and achievements that once seemed impossible. I know that I am about to put the hardship strain behind me, and like in most cases, it has left me stronger and more resilient than before. Things will be ok, and I know that I can do it.

Angels have been playing a big role in my life recently, and I am not surprised that one finally found a way to sneak into my recent painting. An angel, bowing her head in prayer to remember the ones we lost. An angel to remind us of the ones that remain within our hearts, forever. Originally the painting was orange with a white birdcage on it. A bird sitting outside the cage was to invoke a sense of freedom, making a statement and stand, unable to be caged. I started it a few years back and somehow I didn’t feel it anymore. I decided to cover up the birdcage which is still underneath all that paint with it’s new purpose and meaning. You wouldn’t know if I didn’t tell you and the signs are erased, but for me this painting will always have multiple meanings and I know that it is still there. Soon I was drawing something else, on top of the covered up birdcage and it flowing so easily. As if I was led and called to paint this. I’ve always said that my paintings speak to me and reveal times and events in my life that are very personal. This one was no different, and things will be told when you are ready to listen. I listened and an angel emerged. Later came another idea, to complete and round out the overall look and feel.

There is a little heart shaped rock on Dad’s grave. A rock that I got years ago. A rock with the word “Unvergessen” engraved in it. Unvergessen is the german word for unforgotten, which I selected as the title of my painting. I am planning on making a copy of this painting, and sending it to Mom. It’s personal and it feels right. Something is telling me that it is where it belongs.

Angel – Prayer

I came across a poem again. I once wrote it for a friend who became a quadriplegic, and there is a reason that it has surfaced again. Mom’s life is changing so much. It is filled with loss and gain, acceptance and letting go, finding new meanings and reasons to go on. A life once familiar is no more and adjustments are needed to embrace the unknown. I’ve said it many times, but as time ticks away, my gratitude for being here to help her with this mission is growing to new heights. I know that her days would be much darker without me.

I believe the poem is relevant to what is going on and I will share it once more. As it becomes multi dimensional, and perhaps is fitting for many others, I will dedicate it to Mom and to everybody that needs help, encouragement and love. May you never forget to dream and feel loved.

“An Angel spreads it’s Wings”

An Angel spreads it’s Wings over you by day and night,

an Angel quietly sings when you wonder what life brings.

When everything is gray and makes no sense,

he brings you strengths, comes to your defense.

He takes your pain and lifts your sorrow,

you’ll see it gets better, just wait till tomorrow.

With patience you will face each day,

finding new means in every way.

You find hope and courage, the sun begins to shine,

each day will bring new progress and everything is fine.

It’s a new beginning but never the end,

your life goes on, an Angel was sent.

An Angel spreads it’s Wings to help through the night,

to conquer every mountain, to join you in the fight.
