Pain and darkness go hand in hand. Despite, that one can fully exist without the other, they are often linked and associated with each other. When one is present, it’s most likely that the other is not too far off.

“Pain is a dark felling,
This post is to raise awareness. It is to acknowledge the many that suffer in silence, whether it is from chronic pain, mental or emotional pain. The ones that are riddled by anxiety and depression, seemingly relying on themselves only because of not knowing where to could turn to. You are not alone and you are being heard. I have been no stranger to the many faces and layers of pain. That’s why I decided to make it bigger and write a book. I feel we need relatable content, stories and experiences shared, not only to motivate and keep each other going but also to spread hope and a feeling of companionship.
PAIN…
It comes with conditions to express,
Rules made before uttering a big cry,
Emotions dealt with others concerns,
Certain drafted ways to hide your deep cracks
And an unusual pause to act normal in front of people!
Feeling depressed deep within,
Pretending to be very casual though,
One eye open, filled with happiness to show the world
And another eye closed, with tears to calm the storm inside
Yet another day loving with thoughts to end life,
Still manages to pass through those times with a fake smile! “

But it has a blessing within it, deep down awaiting its discovery. It always shows us something inside us, sometimes many things in its journey. But most importantly, and especially for the really hard ones, it gives a whole new appreciation of what ‘we’ have done to obtain it. A new way of being because we have opened inside to something never before seen or felt…us…that new piece that has finally been opened to that light of understanding. And gradually we will truly understand its journey and finally see and feel what we have always looked for was the pinnacle of it all…love, our love, the part that we had been missing for what seems like forever. But like all things that we face, we must experience both sides to understand, endure that path that has only one conclusion, and what we will become because of it ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

All of it been a blessing regardless of how painful and uncomfortable it has been. None of the transformation would be possible without and everything would merely pass us like another day at the office. And you are right, we must experience all sides and all layers and learn along the way, each time discovering a new depths to our being and who we truly are. Pain and adversity shaped us and it has shaped me. 🙏🏼💙🦋
