Finally, a ray of light on the horizon. Weeks ago we picked out a stowage facility close to the house that pipe temporarily store all our belongs, not sold and not donated. It’s a brand new facility that wasn’t even open yet. Our name was put on the list and the date for the grand opening was given to us. After a quick calculation “yep it should work and we should have enough time to make some trips with boxes and smaller pieces of furniture.”
The problem came when the grand opening date got pushed back a few times, shortening our window considerably. What a stressful situation, I was starting to the worst and I am not sure I could even put into perspective what the worst was.
Luckily the call came and the green light was given. “We are open” and the first load was run. One less problem and there is some sort of relief.
More things continue to disappear. My car, my motorcycle on the following day. A few more skeletons have been released from the closet and today our dining room table and chairs left. Luckily there is still the couch to sit on and perhaps eat, but I fear that’s not a safe for too much longer.
We are having a FREE garage sale this weekend. Stop by and pick up what you want. All free of charge as long as you haul it away. It is bittersweet and even sad to an extent. Yet there is no other choice and we are out of time.
We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other.
Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other.
This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place.
My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire.
Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master.
I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago.
I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars.
I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter.
I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self.
This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes.
Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

Apparently, and I haven’t had the opportunity to test this out, if you go to the local ‘Lifeline’ or similar (its the local church or community group that get donations of clothes, furniture etc), they’ll come through and sort what they can use and usually remove a great deal of stuff to their and your benefit. Just a suggestion from downunder 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
I appreciate you suggesting it. Great minds think alike and sometimes they forget the obvious. And mine is lot like that these days lol. Too much stuff in there, more chocolate please. 😂😂😂
Chocolate will fix everything, I’ve suggested it at all world conflict conferences. We will have world peace in less than 6 months, it will be so easy. But…knowing politicians they would fight over the chocolate. WW3 over chocolate 😂 🤣

Great idea and I thought of it too. Problem is they are not coming to pick up now because of Covid. However you can still donate which we have. 😉💙
