Hello March

Hello March, third month of the year and last one for the quarter. I could bore you and look up countless facts of what to expect this month, but I did something a little different this time. I pulled out my oracle card deck to see which spirit animal would come forward and support the energy of March. What came forward was the hummingbird “Be here now.” There really are no ordinary moments, as I have been working with hummingbird energy for the past two weeks, prior to drawing this card. Sometimes we look for signs to help us action the things in our life’s. For me it’s a bit like jumping in, trusting my intuition, actioning things and later finding the signs, a little like reassurance that I’m on the right path. And this is how it happened and his time. The last time I’ve written about hummingbird was in 2017 as I found myself in a beautiful flowering bush of magenta color, surrounded by hummingbirds.

Back to the energy for March and a message form hummingbird for all of us.

The hummingbirds wings beat so swiftly it can hover in seeming stillness as it drink deeply from a flower. Hummingbird spirit comes to remind you that the beauty and sweetness of life is indeed eternal now, the timeless present. Here and now, you are becoming the person you wish to be to have the experiences you wish to have. Focus your energy on the flower before you, for what you desire is being provided. Yes there are blossoms everywhere, the choices can be dazzling! Hummingbird spirit message is that you have no need to go about in search of something better, for all that you require and desire is before you. You will know this as you become still, feeling your connection to spirit who loves you unconditionally and will always provide for you.

Wishing you a wonderful month of March. The energy is great, may it bless we with magic and wonder.

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

      1. I was talking to a dear friend of mine last night who has just purchased a few acres inland. And she had been chatting to her neighbors and they have a dog flap in their door for…wait for it…miniature horses! I started laughing because I thought she was kidding…but apparently no. How small are those things? 😂 🤣
