Love your life

Love your life. Take pictures of everything. Tell people you love them. Talk to random strangers. Do things that you’re scared to do. Take that leap of faith. Be grateful for having tried and failed vs not have taken that chance. Seize the moment. Don’t dwell in “what if’s” and “I should have”. Prioritize and make time for the things and people that matter the most. Live life with no regrets and remember that even the toughest of times bring the greatest lessons. Sometimes we just don’t understand them right away.

Don’t wait, the time is now. Be grateful. Grateful to wake each day, because you’ve been gifted another chance to try again. Give thanks and count your blessings. Realize that many are far less fortunate than you.

Be rich in memories and moments for those become your greatest treasures some day. Go on adventures and co create the story of your life. And yes, you do have that much power.

Have a great week everyone 💙

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

  1. Will do thank you kind lady, I’m about to dare me to go ‘walkies’ tomorrow…rain or not. It has been so wet it is unheard of over here. Some areas have had 12 inches of rain in the last week with more to come in the next few days. Maybe I should take a canoe out to the letterbox instead 😂 🤣

    1. How was the Walkie? I hope you got out and breathe deeply. And if there is a Canoe involved, I wanna see pictures, otherwise it didn’t happen. One top of advice: bring chocolate, but you probably already thought of that. 🤣🤣🤣

      1. Lol, now I didn’t think of that ‘little’ pick me up as I walked…mmm, I’d have to eat the chocolate pretty quick though or it would melt in my pockets…I’d rather it melted in my mouth 😂 🤣
And it was a beautiful walk (no canoe…yet 😀), after my ‘event’ everything has most certainly changed, an appreciation like nothing else to just take a few steps in the sun…and to even breeeeeathe is a blessing ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

      2. It has been a very odd summer here, a nearby place had recorded 1443mm (just on 57 inches) of rain for our 3 summer months. And most were just showers but among it was some very heavy falls and because everything was saturated it just flooded everywhere. May your summer be a little more gentle Rhapsody 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

      3. Awe that sounds like not much fun. No wonder you are talking about canoeing to the mailbox. Hopefully you can experience a beautiful Indian summer. Do you have that there as well? 💙🦋🙏🏼

      4. They are predicting a lovely sunny Autumn with very little rain. I’ll take that with open arms. Mind you, it is ‘normally’ shorts and t-shirts till May anyway but I think the earth has not warmed up like it usually does with our really hot summer so it may be our first ‘cold one’ in a very long time. Mother earth is showing us what she can do when we disturb her sleep 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

      5. Ain’t that the truth and how minute we are in the grand scheme, yet how powerful and how much harm we can bring. Here is to sunny days my friend and letting that canoe rest for awhile. 🤣💙🙏🏼🦋
