Another fun word to ponder has crossed my path to share with you.
The word is Animism
It’s the belief that animals, plants, mountains, rivers, and other natural phenomena possess a spirit. Animists argue for the existence of both the physical and spiritual worlds in one world.
Ancient tribal people attributed myths and rituals to certain animals or acts of nature, giving them specific powers.
Anthropologists often refer to the religious practices of ancient people as animist.
If we believe that everything is energy and vibration, then surely everything must possess a spirit, with a soul. It reminds me of looking in the eyes of an animal, my sweet Cinnamon for example. I have long seen so much more than just just an animal, and it has always been a living, breathing soul starring back at me.
What about trees? It is said that trees communicate and hold each other, intertwined by their root-system to withstand storms. Could we learn a thing or two as humans? What about the energy of healing crystals, a drum that connects us to the heartbeat of Mother Earth, Reiki, energy and music? Have you found solace in a song before? Do you know the feeling?
