So this happened last Friday and I am a furbaby Momma again. This little girl is a big reason as to why I’m late answering your comments, as well as reading your posts. But could anyone be truly mad at her?

Meet Cinnamon, a five month old rescue puppy that miraculously, and completely unplanned has shown up in my life. She was rescued from an orchard in California along with her three brothers. Nobody knows how long she was out there, without any signs of Mom. She was scared, hungry and pretty much feral.

Already by the next day she had stolen my heart and filled something within me I didn’t think could be filled. She is not here to replace my previous two pooches that have long crossed the rainbow bridge, but she has balanced the big void I have felt ever since the loss of my furry friends. She has brought joy and laughter back, as well as the wonderful feeling of caring for someone or something. Yes she is like a baby to me, and I think any animal has always been.

Lil_MissCinnamon is an cuddle bug and the sweetest baby. You can follow her adventures on Instagram under Lil_MissCinnamon. I’m sure she’d love to see you there. That little thief has my heart and my number. Already…

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

  1. Hey Rhapsody, what a sweetheart. You do know your lost now don’t you. I can ‘hear’ the smile in your eyes dear lady…but what a way to go 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
P.S. I may have mentioned that I have been blocked commenting on many blogs but it has now stepped up a notch. Spirit is guiding me somewhere else for something that’s about to happen I’m feeling. But besides that Firefox in its pearly wisdom updated its Thunderbird email handler that I use without warning and I’ve lost all ‘connecting’, I’m now having to do it from a very, very long roundabout way that requires multiple logins and setting up to use any of them. If I disappear for a while…I’ll know your now in good hands 😂 🤣

    1. Yeah I kinda knew and had banked on not getting too attached. Needless to say there is no such thing and she had my number on day one.
I am sorry you are having such a difficult time on the blog. Sounds like a pain for sure and I hope you can get it figured out. Many, including myself would miss you tremendously. So I hope it’s not so. Can I bribe you with chocolate to keep going the long way until it’s sorted? 😩😂

    1. Thank you so much. She is very special to me and after my last dog passed I never thought it possible to have a bond like this again. I was wrong, although she is not here to replace or take a space. She is her own little personality and new memories are being made. 🤗
