Ten painful truths

  1. The average human life is relatively short.
  2. You will only ever live the life you create for yourself.
  3. Being busy does NOT mean being productive.
  4. Some kind of failure always occurs before success.
  5. Thinking and doing are two different things.
  6. You don’t have to wait for an apology to forgive.
  7. Some problems and people are simply the wrong match for you.
  8. It’s not other people’s job to love you; it’s yours.
  9. What you own is not who you are.
  10. Everything changes, every second.

What can we take away from this? Perhaps we can try to choose our battles and don’t get tied down with unnecessary burdens. Just having the intention will make a difference in our mind-frame. Here is to all of us, may we all succeed.

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

  1. Oh we will succeed dear lady, even sitting in a pile of mud gives that wisdom to love a little more. Even if it is just to wish a little more warmth for a cold backside 😂 🤣
Great post my friend, wise words from many mud puddles 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

    1. I had to read them over myself again and sadly noticed that spellcheck threw a few wrong words in it. Ah the struggle is real and what happens typing on a little phone screen. Reading it once more it might make more sense to you. It’s really deep and it does make you pause and reevaluate where you can. Sending much love you way and bless you.

    1. Ain’t that the truth and I am glad but selfish not having to suffer these issues alone hahaha. Sorry friend. 😉
Thank you so much for your kind words. They are easily returned right back to you, and somehow I get you and feel a connection without ever having met. It’s special when that happens and recognize your beautiful and big heart. Much love to you and keep up the great work. Your light is shining bright. Hugs 😘❤️

      2. Awe I love your summary of what it takes and I couldn’t agree more. I think you have to have a true and genuine desire wanting to help others while shedding any selfishness, looking at the bigger picture instead of what you get out of it. Thank you for sharing this path with me. You are amazing and your light shines bright, even when you need to take a rest. Xoxo 😘
