Spiritual Awakening Stages

With so much uncertainty and confusion right now, we look to understanding, a little hope and perhaps some reassurance that everything will be ok. It also makes me think of our own personal journeys, trying to understand things, and sometimes even feeling alone with nobody to share or relate to you. I thought this might be a good time to repost the 7 stages of spiritual awakening.

  1. Unhappiness and emptiness
  2. Perception shifts
  3. Seeking answers and meaning
  4. Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
  5. Disillusionment and feeling lost
  6. Deeper inner work
  7. Integration, expansion, Joy

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

I’m sorry, I couldn’t help that…it slipped out, I swear it did. It’s all that chocolate I’ve eaten, I’m a little high on the fermented cocoa beans in it 😂 🤣

    1. It is there, I promise. It just takes a while to knock the wall down that’s covering it. A bit like archeology, as we uncover the bits more information is shown so that we can understand. And then one day, like Howard Carter, he stumbles upon Tutankhamen tomb and the discovery of the ages is opened. Your discovery is there waiting for you, and you alone. And like Howard, you won’t believe your eyes in what you have found 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

    2. Stay the course my dear friend. It is a part and you will get there. Not everybody experiences all of the stages but joy definitely needs to be a part of everyone’s journey. Which step do you identify with currently?

      1. Thank you Rhapsody for your comments and question. The part of the journey I am on now is surrender and to just be. Funny how this seems like the hardest part and the most painful. Sending you lots of love ❤️

      2. I know it’s a hard part. Letting go of all control and learning to be ok with whatever the outcome. For me it was trusting that the universe had my best interest at heart and that everything would be ok. Once I learned this, it was such a relief not having to carry all that weight and it truly is beautiful now.
Best wishes and lots of love to you. ❤️
