I live in a beautiful area no doubt. One that has beautiful bodies of water, alpine lakes, and the mountains to play in.
Here is a recent picture of the beautiful blue waters at one of Lake Tahoe’s Marina’s. There are several Marina’s around the lake and it sure never gets old to visit. It’s like escaping, going on vacation in my own backyard with every visit to Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in North America.
We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other.
Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other.
This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place.
My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire.
Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master.
I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago.
I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars.
I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter.
I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self.
This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes.
Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

I once went on a really cool boat tour of Lake Tahoe, and we went to some famous house that is now kind of a museum or something? I wish I could remember it better, it was years ago. The lake really is quite beautiful, though.

I just went on a cruise around emerald bay for my birthday and it was beautiful, with perfect weather. I think it’s a must do to get to experience the lake and I’ve been lucky to go on all three riverboats that run up there.

You suffer so much up there 😀
Even in winter it must be difficult snuggling up to a roaring fire watching the snow gently blanketing the landscape 😀
Mind you, I do expect more pictures of that suffering so that I can too 😀

Haha I truly do don’t I? And you are right, a beautiful white blanket in winter makes the area look like a winter wonderland and I get out in all seasons. Although the last winter was extreme and there is still snow left in some parts of the mountains.
And more pictures you shall receive 😉

Really a beautiful lake, Rhapsody 🙂
You are lucky yes, but I think, that you chose your home after that too, which is more than understandable.
Much love to you ❤

It’s very complicated and for years I always felt torn between two countries, never knowing which one to call home. I’m still somewhat in between but spending 10 month in Germany last year, it’s not just the scenery here, it’s also where I spent most of my adult life. I am established here and it’s easier for me, especially since I am not in my twenties anymore. In addition, I suffered much more with my health and the humidity in Germany. It’s been taking me all this time to get my health back and I still have a ways to go.
I don’t know if there will ever be a resolutions being stuck in between.
Much love to you my friend ❤️

You need to stay, where you feel best, dear friend. Your health is no. one to follow. Without the health, not much quality of life.
When I visited Denmark last time, I did also suffer with the humidity.

I have learned this firsthand this over the last two years and you are so right. You know best what it feels like to be rendered helpless and it is very scary. May we never see such times again.
Best wishes and blessings my special friend. Hugs.

I know Shiva and I could never take such beauty for granted. But it’s also the simple things, each one in its own beauty that catches my heart and leaves a memory forever.
Bless you my friend. ❤️🙏🏼
