We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

      1. Oh my gosh…I would so love to. I don’t think I have been hiking in a couple of years. My heart is yearning to go again. And this picture makes me want to come there.

      2. Good 😉. I have more to entice you with and will schedule regularly. Anything is possible princess and I hope you can somehow make it happen to get out. Your soul already knows how good it feels and it is trying to tell you through the yearning you feel. Have a wonderful weekend, you’re loved. ❤️

  1. And that is summer time? lol 😁
It’s about mid winter here, but only if a pretty big cold snap comes through, and then only on the mountain tops 100klm away.
I have to admit, I’ve never seen snow. A loose flurry one day in a field of orange clay so we put together this poor orange snowman, it wasn’t the same somehow 😀

    1. Wow I wished I could have seen that orange snowman.
FYI not all my responses go through to you for some reason and often display a error message. Are you blocking me already because of my chocolate demands? Hahahha

      1. Sorry Rhapsody, definitely not the chocolate requests 😀
I literally just stripped my site out a few hours ago so it may be having a hissy fit because of the problems I’ve been having. I’ve had quite a few problems with people unable to comment on the old site, and when they press the Post Comment button it brings up the WordPress sign in box, even though they are already signed in, and even when they put their correct credentials in it just keeps saying incorrect login. And sometimes it will just say ‘Submitting Comment’ but it has been up to 20secs later on that it does this. I’ve got it on ‘Manual Approval’ so the comment won’t appear until I approve it.
If you wish to test the current theme I have at the moment just click the ‘like’ and stick a smiley emoji in the comment box (link on the side of the post and hit the Post Comment button.
Hopefully it will work this time, or as I said before, I’ll go buy some carrier pigeons 😀

      2. I am sorry for your troubles and I am glad it’s not the chocolate. I hope you can get it sorted with no problems. I just wanted you to know in case you wondered why I haven’t responded to your comment. I appreciate you and I want you to know my friend.

      3. I am also thankful its not the chocolate 😀 (are we addicts? 😀 )
I did see the replies thank you but I can no longer reply as they are (I hope) locked up in a backup somewhere…unless you commented after I backed up…hmmm, that can be a problem lol 😀
Anyway my friend, I’m not going anywhere, especially with a friend with views like those 😀
Just bear with me while I try to reload and not break the Trans-Atlantic underwater communications cable that connects half the world to each other. If you see any smoke coming out of the ocean anywhere…it wasn’t me 😀
