I had a special visitor the other day and a Hawk came to visit. Actually is was two Hawks and I briefly mentioned it here. Together, they were sitting on a wooden post in my backyard as I stepped out onto the patio. One flew away, but the other remained for quite some time, watching me carefully sit down on the stairs. This wasn’t the first time and I had previous visits from the Hawk in the past, I knew right away that this was a special moment and another message that was due being delivered.
My dear Fairy Sister Roda recently sent me a pocket guide to Spirit Animals from Dr. Steven Farmer. Thank you, xo 🦋💙. God knows I’m a bookworm and how I love my books, she knew just which one could add additional joy to my collection that is ever growing. I was curious of what the book had to say and I’m fascinated with the timing of how these events often unfold. I could easily miss it if I was a sceptic, but I don’t think that it is coincidence that the book arrives and within hours a spirit animals appears in the most unusual settings. I guess it comes down to “Believe or not believe”. You know where I fall and here are the words of Dr. Steven Farmer and what the Hawk visit might mean.
You’re caught up in too many details, so step back so you can get a greater perspective on the situation.
Stay alert and focused on the task before you, eliminating as many distractions as possible.
Spend some time observing and studying the situation, and when it’s time for action, make it quick and decisive.
Pay close attention to your surroundings, as you’re about to receive an important message.
Be aware of any personal or psychic attacks, and be prepared to defend yourself.
Stop trying to change others or the situation, and work instead of accepting things as they are.
Sometimes the messages are surprising and may not always make sense. Sometimes they make you pause and drive awareness, as they bring to the forefront the subconscious of the things you might not be aware of. In a way, I believe that is the very purpose and meaning of it all together. Perhaps it was the last part of the message that brought the biggest eye opener for me. There are several examples that I’m surrounding with that the empath in me feels and absorbs the energy of these situations. I can’t deny feeling the pain and the struggles of some people dear to me, and without a doubt I would gladly wave my hands and wipe it all away if I could. I have to step back and realize that no matter how tough the lessons, they are part of their journey, a part of being stretched to grow into their higher selfs, and that those moments are necessary in the process.
It was also the first part of the messages that spoke to me, and it easy to get lost in planning all the details of my future and what is to come. It’s huge and overwhelming and the overall picture can easily discourage. Today I remember that sometimes we just need break things down. A journey of a million steps, starts with one single step and no matter if you can move at the speed of a leopard or a snail, eventually you will reach your goal as long as you keep moving.
