One last look back before leaving upper Sardine Lake, while trying to take in all of it’s beauty. It’s always a treat to endulge in this beautyful area and the many alpine lakes that dot the area. I have never seen the lake level this high and new little islands within the lake have formed. We couldn’t even cross to the other side of the lake has it has become a stream feeding into lower Sardine Lake. It’s another thing I’m not too crazy about since the year I fell on the slippery rock and dislocated my elbow. It will get easier in the summer when the waters warm and start to recede a little.
Until next time and fingers crossed our ruling rock is still above lake level then.
