“Be strong my warrior, be strong”

I wrote a little poetry today. Definitely something new for me and yet something I felt inspired to do. So here it goes….

“Be strong my warrior, be strong”
Listen to the whispers of the wind and let it blow your worries away.

Adapt to the life of a tree. Stand firmly grounded but remain flexible without breaking so that you can bend and sway with the times, weathering life’s lashes while reaching for the heavens.

Listen to the rhythmic waves of the ocean and let them calm your soul in the same manner they will give you the strength to embrace violent crashes ahead.

“Be strong my warrior, be strong”

Allow yourself to feel the sunshine and enjoy the warmth on your skin. Let it fill your heart with peace and soothe your mind. Let her be your guardian to always keep within your heart and to create an environment that will never allow an iceberg to grow. May your heart stay warm and strong against the fight of hardening, of becoming bitter, of becoming ice cold with nothing left to feel.

May the air you breathe, inhale hope with every breath and fill your soul with wonder and magic.

And finally, let Mother Earth allow you to always feel connected. Let her remind you of your wild and wolffish nature, for you are unique and a force to be reckoned with.

“Be strong my warrior, be strong”

Author:

We are the co-creators of our life and the time is now. More than ever are we needed to support Mother Earth and each other. Together we discover and explore our unique gifts in times of strengths, in times we lean on each other, and in times when we learn from each other. This blog started as an outlet and what I ultimately called my “Warriors Journey.” It was a way to document the ups and downs of my life, sharing my hardships as well as my successes. It showcased the struggles, but more important the ways of how to overcome them. Although we are warriors each and every day, I realized that having to be a warrior, comes from a place of pain. I decided to rename this blog, and “Phoenix Rising” now stands for the story of overcoming such a painful place. My motivation for this blog hasn’t changed and I hope to share inspiration and hope, to create a sense of belonging, a space of being heard, and connecting with like minded beings who instill a sense of oneness. We are never alone, and we are unstoppable in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire. Who I am in a nutshell...
I am an energy healer and Reiki Master. I am surviving a chronic disease that I’ve sent into remission three times since my initial bout, 15 years ago. I continuously challenge the status quo and by doing so I change my stars. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that true love exists on various levels. I am an optimist that will always see the glass as half full. I am a dreamer, believing in endless possibilities. Not even the sky is the limit. I have jumped off of the hamster wheel, and I am writing a new chapter. I am chasing my Nirvana to support my most authentic self. This is my story, I am that Phoenix and I am rising from the ashes. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋

  1. Your writings have always reflected how positive and gentle a soul you are. This poem will definitely instil a courageous vibe among all those who are undergoing some sort of rough patch in life. Very inspiring words. “I will try to be a strong warrior, my friend, I will try”.

    1. Thank you very much Sherry, your kind words mean a lot. We all encounter rough patches from time to time and you give me the reassurance to continue to share my journey in the hopes to inspire and perhaps make the load a little lighter for others. And as yourself, you don’t have to try and I already know that you have fought and won some battles my dear friend. Xo ❤

    1. Luca, im beyond touched and what a wonderful gift to wake up to. I feel so honored by your post and I can only convey how much this means to me. Your kind and thought provoking words as always speak from my soul and you are so right.
The feeling is mutual and even we have never met (yet), there remains a connection that continues to grow as I feel that my soul has known you forever. I feel the understanding that requires little to no words and I acknowledge how incredibly blessed I am to have you in my life.
I know that you have seen pain in your life and yet your beautiful spirit continues to shine through as those who don’t see eye to eye could never diminish the amazing light you are.
Thank you so much for this, I’m truly touched. ❤🌹🌹🌹🌹

      1. You’re welcome, but as you said phisical realm isn’t important when you resonate with someone, so even if I’m slow as my snail running buddy from Cremeno’s Mountains I kept remembering I owe you that post and I finally got to it eheh… I’ll see your mountains through your eyes and hope to get there one day to see them through mine. 🙂 Have a wonderful day and a big hug from Madrid!!!! :)🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

      2. And maybe we even see some mountains together some day and visit. You are right about the physical realm and I know that I feel more connected and closer to some of the people I was lucky to have met on here, vs. the ones close to me in flesh.
We share a connection of being like minded souls, having shared some of the same life experiences and having most of the same qualities and values. It is a little bit like in the movie “Avatar” when Neytiri looks at Jake and says “I see you” meaning that no explanations are needed and that she gets who he is. And with that said my wonderful friend, you never owe me anything but I am beyond honored by your friendship and dedication. It means a lot.

        And last and most importantly

        “I see you” ❤

  2. Friend, I’m in love with this poem!!! Truly, it does touch my heart. I love the mantra of “Be strong, warrior,” and I also love all the beautiful references you make to nature and how it should be affecting our souls. (If I didn’t have to work, I’d definitely be outside the majority of my spring and summer days, for sure!) Your words are lovely to read.

This is marvellous, wonderful piece of writing, so beautiful and strong and gentle and stirring.
Yes, you are a Shaman alright! Now I’m thinking you either were a Native American in a past life or you have a Native American spirit guide….? You are certainly channelling that Earth Spirit energy really strongly here, Rainbow Warrior. xx

    1. Awe, thank you so much my dear soul sister. Your words soothe my soul as always. I do have a strong attachment to Native American wisdom. I can’t explain it but there is a calling. Plus I have the head dress to channel inner warrior. You are already know how much I love Mother Earth and nature itself. Xoxoxo thank you for your kind words. Xo

      1. Yes, there is a photo of you with the headdress on I think, I can’t see it properly, just the beading around your forehead. You always look amazing in photos, but that one I would have to classify as truly stunning. With your love of America and love of the Earth, it is no wonder the Native American wisdom speaks to your heart. xx

      2. Awe thank you so much Amanda. I checked and yes it’s me wearing the head dress walking in the snow. The picture is actually from the back and shows the long feather plum. I wear it from time to time and have fun with it. I have a post scheduled wearing it with a quote I liked.

      3. That’s not the photo I meant, it’s a head shot front view in your bottom widjet of you looking stunning and you can’t see the feathers, is that the headdress too? Now you point out that it’s you in the headdress walking through the snow, wow, amazing, I didn’t realise, you look fabulous and that is some headdress! xx

      4. Ah yes, I know what picture you are talking about now. The actual to that picture is called courage to live and you’ll get to see a better picture of it. There is another post called Merry Christmas that shows the headdress too as well as a few others I don’t remember the tittle to right now.
All pictures posted are mostly my own unless I state it. Thank you so much, I’m glad you liked it. Xoxo
